Lame Leagues

It is becoming apparent to me and my clan mates that the only way to succeed in ladders is to bunny hop, dolphin dive and exploit the game as much as possible. I've complained about this before, but it just seems that clans in the top tiers of leagues all have no honor anymore. We really wanted to (as a clan) join a league to compete against others like us some more skilled, but not those who are for lack of another word pricks.

They exploit the game in any way to get the win, no matter and ethics or some sort of morals. I have also been tea bagged in game, which just pisses me off these other clans have no respect their just little pricks, I would never teabag because put simply it is just not the right thing to do. I was under the impression that leagues had the higher quality players in them, but I was proven wrong.

Above the top 10 in ladders most clans aren't bunny hopping and exploiting, but once you enter the below 10 arena it all goes to ****. I know everyone says you can take these guys out and stuff, but it seems to me that it is just constant BS. Well my elongated rant is over, I'm sorry for maybe offending people who do bunny hop and dolphin dive, but I must ask does it really feel good when you kill someone in game by exploiting?

Bunny hopping is not exploiting and it is fair, everyone can do it. How is it not honorable? You can do it too? If you are going to be killed and you know that you can bunny hop and live then do it. Bunny hopping and dolphin diving does take skill, you have to readjust your aim every time you land. How is it exploiting? It sounds like you are just complaining at your lack of skill. If I kill someone that way I do feel good, as good as any other way. Everyone can do it, you just have to know how and have skill. There are so many cry babies in BF2 that want to complain to EA because of their lack of skill. It is the most affective infantry tactic in BF2, love it or hate it. EA made it that way and they're leaving it that way. So you're saying the true exploiters are those better then you.

Ok EA made it that way huh? So then why did EA repeatedly patch BF2 in some cases to stop the bunny hopping and dolphin diving that was occuring. DICE (by the way the actual makers) did not want people jumping around and exploiting the game engine. What you are saying is false with no fact behind it. When you bunny hop but to a larger extent dolphin dive and move in midair while prone you are exploiting the game engine, they may have not fixed it (completely) but they sure as hell attempted to.

Doc. In league, its "play to win", no matter the cost. You should accept that. I know that tactical gameplay "looks" and "feels" cool and nice, and really creates an immersion, but BF2 is more to Quake, than to RVS.

Well, is tea bagging necessary in a match, it is just disrespectful. Well if all leagues are like this does anyone know of any leagues that enforce rules for no hopping, diving and prone exploitation?

Actually. Teabagging is just as disrespectful as saying "u suk, go get some skills nublet" after youve killed someone. Teabagging is never done for humour. Its done for humiliation. And I agree with the topic starter. I personally expect professionalism from league players.

I think the Dr. wants a more tactical version of BF2 as do I. I played in a league for a few months, but didn't find it satisfying. It seems like the league set it up so the only way to truly win is to exploit more than anything else. Granted the state of the game doesn't help either with some of the BS that is in it.

I value a good game more than a "win at any cost". My friends and I will play to win, but not at the expense of playing BF 2 like it was Quake/UT. You have to be careful about people who will play to win at any cost, because with online games, you don't know what that cost is?

Spoken by a skilled and proud bunnyhopping/dolphin diving whore. Yes these were placed in the game by EA/Dice, just like jumping over a fence will hurt/reduce your health by 4 or 5 bars. Still doesnt make it right....

Tea-bagging, love it, makes me laugh... but disrespectful to a stranger. I will only do it to friends and clan mates when its meant to be fun, and I take it that way when they do it to me.

8 times out of 10, when someone teabags me they get killed doing so. And i bet if someone teabags them they cry like a baby and smash up the keyboard mommy bought them!

Because it doesn't show any form of respect it is just done for humiliation. Let us see the actual definition of tea bagging is "a term for the act of a man placing his genitals, specifically the scrotum in the mouth of another person. I am. It's the same as being 'sprayed' in Counterstrike. Everyone knows what it means "I have domination over you" The top dog pisses on the submissives. Don't think you are kidding any of us when you do rude **** like that in game. The message is clear. So yes, I am offended by such actions. Be sportsmanlike and do nothing. Just move on.
