    Hard Drive Help

I have two hard disks the C and the D, i use 85 percent of my C drive and 99 of my D drive is not used . How can i transfer some of those files from the C to the D without it crashing. And i have two Roms 1 CD-Rom and 1 DVD-ROM. So i sometimes install games on the dvd drive to see the what happens, it installs but installs to the same driver. So i want to know which one to install software on the cd-ro or the dvd-rom because to me it seems there is no difference.
Oh and is buying an external hard drive a good choice?

    Re: Hard Drive Help

data files can go to D without any trouble. Pictures, Videos, MP3's.

External drives are fine if you have a reason to need it to be external. Personally, I'd just go buy a larger capacity drive and use only it as opposed to two smaller drives. Convenience and all that.
