I have played czech version and it's very much like Operation FlashPoint ... problem is that it's too much like OFP ... ok graphic engine is much better and it looks better than OFP ... but screenshots are "photoshop-ed" (tested on Intel Core2Duo 6600, 4GB RAM, ATI 1900XTX, 2xRaptor HDD) ... there is no "fluidity" in motion ... much like in original OFP ... I have always felt like I'm in control of robot not human body ... something like that ... and there are problems with AI ... sorry for not posting shots I have deinstalled the game but here is one that is real:

if you take a closer look at the screenshots that can be found on web you can see that every one looks like it's "zoom-ed" (cropped) and there is no screenshot of enemy comming from distant ... there are no shots of silhouetted enemy on hill. Wait for some real in-game screenshots to be published and demo.Comment

screenshots posted on bohemia site and on preview articles are ... yours are not ... there is distinctive diference on shots ... yours for start are not blur-ed on objects that are closer to beholder ... or if you prefer exact description, on your shots there wasn't added depth-of-field filter :)Comment

Did you check the last page. All those pictures are unedited. The blur is caused by automatic Depth of Field. Its a feature of the game and can be adjusted by the use of scripts.Comment

I can not wait for this game....I am glad it wont get the support of the sheep-BF2-give-me-points-I-want-stupid-medals-crowd (not all fall in the cat. but you know what I mean)......
It will be back to the old days like with DC....
Albeit BF2 is still a fun game...ArmA is more a simulator though and may not be as "fun" if you are looking for a arcade style shooter...

THis is from the same group from bohemia interactive that made operation flashpoint? Not only yes, but hell yes. The graphics arent uber top notch but if you were to play operation flashpoint you definitly love the gameplay, one shot one kill and armor, helos. Let me put it to you this way, imagine bf2 but no bugs, and realistic. In OF if you got shot in the leg youd hobble everywhere, if both legs youd have to crawl, arms would ruin your aim or make it to where you couldnt use some guns, and head or torso shots...dead.
I havent played it yet but I will be getting a copy imported from the UK when it arrives, I suggest checking it out due to repution of the developers.Comment

Well I manage to start it up but my frame rate sucks big time and the lag is terrible. I guess there is much to do in optimizing game code. My rig is definitely not a top notch but it should run it. (AMD Athlon XP 64 3000+ oc. to 2 GHz, 2 Gt DDR 433MHz, Ati Radeon X1950 Pro 256MB...)
The demo has no worth for me and it kinda killed my enthusiasm for the game. If I should again renew my rig, then I'll be playing BF2 and mods. Just hope that ET QW doesn't need so much hardware torque as ARMA and as I presume Crysis will need.
Game itself seemed nice and I have discussed with Garabaldi about it (he has the game). According him it's really nice. Garabaldi said that full version runs much smoother than demo. Sure hope so, but I'll be waiting for final release and then I'll wait for some comments how it's performing in setup like mine before I buy it.Comment
