Problems with oppening the game:( got the newest patch!

hmm I cant get it working, well I used to, until i screwed up!
Dont konw why, but I change the resolution to 1600x1000 (which my 4:3 monitor of course so not support) So it freezed and I hat to restart! But now I can open the game! Its just saying Check Signal - or something like that, the monitor wont work with it How do I change the resolution without oppening the game?:S
Tried lauching the game as a 640x480 application (windows feature), but same result...

go here C:\Documents and Settings\Home\My Documents\Battlefield 2\Profiles\0001

open up the Video.CON file with notepad
change the line
VideoSettings.setResolution 1600x1000@75Hz
to
VideoSettings.setResolution 800x600@75Hz

click save

you may have to adjust the profile number above, depending on how many accounts and which one is messed up:

0002
0003
etc..
