fraps lags like that because it saves it realtime uncompressed avi's!
u would need the uberfasterest computer to have no lag effect! sorry just the way it is! just buy a convertor and record to vcr then transfer back to comp lol!

I have super uber fast comp and it still lags me. It never used to before...

I got top of the specs too but fraps lag like hell over here as well.
