Only the default (TGN Light) theme for now. Dark them is also coming back soon. Then CSN. Then Wrestlin' Nation. A lot of WIP stuff right now. There are a couple of things still not working either. Sorry.
ok, i have 2 computers running right next to each other. one has some problem thats hard to fix and the other is way better. tons more ram and stuff. the broken comp has a NVIDIA GeForce 6600. the better computer has a GeForce 7300 LE card. can someone let me know which card is better, cause i want to put the better card in my good comp.
are YOU kidding me!
a 7300LE is the integreted card for the 7 series.
and for the 6 series, the 6600GT OC is the fastest in the 6 series.
correct me if im wrong.
sounds about right, 6600GT is a performance card where the 7300LE is just a card manufactures put them in for noobs to think they have a good card where the 6600GT is built for gamers
thx and would you classify the 6600 as a somewhat high end card. i think i could run med-high in bf2 right?
6600GT was a high mid-end card...see...two 1/2 years ago? 6600 was a middling step down, but still a decent enough card. Sure. if you've got 1 gig of ram, you should try to run the effects that really matter on high, say view distance and geometries, then medium for the rest, except dynamic light to low and dynamic shadows OFF (shadows ON hides people you're trying to gun for and it uses up a lot of horsepower), all at 1280x1024 and 2xAA.
If you get severe lag, I'd try bumping down the res to 1024x768 OR reducing some of the settings. Always keep geometries and view distance to high for best competitive advantage with what you see.
Alternatively, you could buy a good cooler ($30 Zalman 9000cu) for your 6600 and make it run @>6600GT speeds, methinks. And you can recycle it if you upgrade. :)
arg i have a agp comptuer and its annoying. whats the best gpu that i caget that not outrageous price (600) thats agp
There's a new gen of very vanilla (mid-end) gpu's out:
x1600PRO agp
7600GS agp
If you can find one, an x850xt or a 6800gs would be better, probably even a x800xt would be better (256-bit interface, GDDR3, and exceptional core speeds go along way toward making an older tech run faster)...but those are getting hard to come by in AGP flavor.
7800GS is the top dawg of agp, BUT it has a price to match ($200-250).
