SmartClose, Is there an alternative?

So, yeah. SmartClose. It pisses me off in-game because when it kills programs, it constantly lets itself interrupt my game. Constantly, meaning every half-second. The rest is good, very customizable, a handy program. Any other proggies like it, 'round? Also, someone should have the background processes killing proggies on a sticky topic. It'd be a lot of help. To anyone who doesn't know, SmartClose is a program that closes applications (i.e. FireFox, pr0n, Windows Media Player, etc.) and background processes (you wouldn't know it ) so your computer can focus more important processing power to teh b4ttlefi3ld. bump

Task Manager works just fine for me.

Even better than Task Manager is Process Explorer, option to use instead of TM /w ctrl+alt+del will do all TM does and gives you alot more & better info. It does not install just run it from its folder, I also have it on my flash stick as it will run as a portable app.

what exactly does task manager do? i kno what is it but how is it like smartclose?
