Do i have to renistall bf2 to install 1.41 if i already have 1.4?

Ok i have the 1.41 patch sitting there, but i want to be sure of something.

Its the 536mb one, so can i install it? And how come when i do click on it nothing ever happens?

Just install it over 1.4. You don't have to reinstall bf2 just to install a new patch.

Ok but how come every time i click on the patch it tries to load up but just doesnt do anything? I know that the 1.4 patch took a few mins but ive waited hours for this one

Double click on it open up task mangers go to processes and look and see if you see anything about 1.41. Have bf2 closed. If not download again.

WHen i click it it shows two of them open in processes at ~same mb. I exit them bioth. Then i click it again and same thing happens. I shouldnt have to redownload a 536 mb file.

Double click it and go and have a cuppa matey . It takes a while to come up . A LONG while in some cases .Took a good 30 seconds on mine . My mate with a fairly low spec machine took nearly 5 minutes

UPDATE: Sorry everytime i downloaded i would leave it alone and let it DL and then come back and it would be done, but not really done. It would be like 235mb or 109nb, and I was getting it off EA's site.

Anyone know of a good link that would deliver fast download in japan?

becauses its a big file give your computer some time, double click on it and look at your hdd light it should be working like mad to open it
