Patch Problem

ok plain and simple i just got bf2 today and wel.... i went to install the latest patch 1.4 ( i know 1.41 is the latest but my clan server still runs on 1.4) anyway i install it and it says its installed but when i go to play on my clans server it stops me and says you do not have the right version. so the patch installed and didnt work..... any help?

ive uninstalled bf2
wiped bf2 of my pc and reinstalled it all again

Because the server has not yet updated to 1.41.

If you want 1.41 servers instead of 1.40, Then there is a Filter check the box "Same Version Only".

tried still dosent work no servers show up for same version only. i am stuck with the unpatched version of bf2 it want patch at all
