Random Kit pickup

So, I have been running around the last few months as Assault. If I am taking a flag and I have someone on my team run up in the flag zone that is a medic, only to die at my feet, I will pick up their medic kit and revive them. So, I get stuck with whatever weapon they have, be it the M16, AK, G36E, or L85 (often out of ammo). But, I really wonder how they feel about getting the AK101 w/GP-30. I mean, to me, if you are a medic, that is the next best kit to get for owning. But, I wonder how people feel when this happens, and they get something challenging to use like the SCAR-L or something that has a learning curve or maybe even something very weak because the guy has no unlocks yet.

If I am not satisfied with the weapon I will return it to the owner with a few rounds to the head and a quick tap on G

Arg, yeah, this morning, I had to run around for several minutes with the L85, because I was teh squad leader, and my guys kept reviving me. I kept saying, let me spawn so I can get my kit back!!! Eventually, I started popping a round in them when I got revived. That instills discipline in the ranks!

I look for a kit to drop their kit and see if they will get their kit back. If not I use what I got and hope it doesn't happen often. Which it doesn't. I have been revived with random kits and I know dam well a medic came up so he didn't take my kit and there was no dead people around for miles. I have actually been waiting for a revive, select a different kit then get revived with the new kit. Weird.

i always appreciate a revive by a non-medic. just run with the gun you get untill you die. how often do you last more than 5 min in cqc anyway?

You would be surprised. I was on Sharqi this morning, and I was laying out a lot of people with the L85A1 and I could not find one M16 to pickup. It was tough because I would kill 4-5 people, die from a grenade, then get revived by guys around me. I often die when I am cycling through kits on the ground.

BTT, yeah, I try to pick up someone else's kit to see if I can get my back if they want their med kit back.

I rarly use G in game unless i really would like to use that kit and if someone steals my kit then I go back and kill that person right were it hurts.

No offense but the three or so guys that said 'I shoot them and get my kit back' are either lying and being sheep or are complete jackasses. Can you not use one other gun then your precious G36E?? if someone makes a special effort to revie you-when they are not medic (which is well beyond the realms of what is expected) you should thank them and insure you do the same for them next time they die. Alternatively you could pick up the kit of the dead enemy, then they pick their kit back up, then you pick yours up. Or learn to use other guns and see your skills improve!

If i made a special effort to revive someone and they got up and shot me in the face, i'd probably sepnd the whole round tking them!

I agree. How selfish can you be to shoot a guy that went out of his way to help? Just use the other guys kit. If you have any skill at all, you would be able to use that weapon aswell.

There is more than one weapon in the game, you know. I have all the unlocks but just for kicks will use the AK-47 or the M-16 at times. Its fun to be on the USMC and kill enemy players with the AK-47. Yes, I picked it up off of a new player who was dead. Try it some time, it makes things interesting. . . . . . . .Red

I have to agee with Jay_C completely. If a non-Medic went out of his way to rev you, shooting him to get your kit back is way over the edge. He's saving your team a ticket and attempting to keep you in the fight for as long as he can, rather than letting you spend a full 15 seconds watching the clock.

id care more about being alive than wat gun im holding...any kit is good...they just have diff strengths and weaknesses

yeah, true. but i hate it when after i got killed and my 15 seconds is ABOUT to end, i got revived by a medic who obviously doesnt care about enemies in the vicinity and only to get killed again.

I use g a lot. When I kill a medic or support guy and need ammo or meds. I take their kit throw a pack or two down and spam thanks champ as I pick my kit back up. :)
