I got flamed by a couple people in this thread for saying it in other threads...but I think they need to take one of the two F-35s out of Dalian and replace it with one F-18. So, you have one F-35 and one F-18. Same with Wake. Daqing is fine the way it is.

You made it sound like you specifically challenged me.. Let me guess.. you want to dogfight me. You in the J-10, me in the F-35B... am I right.. (probably would still win) lmao.

I'm done with this.. I'm not getting banned again.

I don't get why the 18's arent on the carrier.

And I like how it says "preferred" and not "only" so that semantics helps get it around ROE rules.

How does the idea of having one F-18 and one F-35B sound? Both have seperate spawn points. IMO that would work out good.. it would work almost like the fighter/bomber combination.

                Re: F-18 on dalian

Except that F35B isnt a bomber, but a carrier based multirole fighter. It SHOULD be at a disadvantage against jets that are pure dogfighters. The reason to cry here is, that other fighters are very well suitable for heavy ground attacks. Basically, I find that finetuning the difference between other fighters and F35B should be done, but altering roles shouldnt. Meaning- F35B should still be inferior. But right now, the inferiority is staggering. F35B loses to all other jets significantly, high speed, and afterburner acceleration and roll rate excluded.

One F18 and one F35B would work, I guess, but remember that F18 is still fvcked up and J10 aswell. So I would actually expect a real solution to the problem for people who got paid for fvcking this all up and creating such a mess... and ignoring this for months and months!

                  I have a idea.

Give all the jets the same charicteristic (sp?) of the mig. Problems solved.

Wow, can't believe they still havent addressed the aircraft balance issues.

I thought of this same idea a long time ago. It only makes sense, no coding to be done, just swap out files for the map and wala, much more balanced air combat. Might not be perfect, but 10 times better than it is now so USMC will not be at such a disadvantage on maps like this.

P.S. The Talon is like the J10 of 2142. Most missiles from Doragon will miss "mysteriously" and swerve away from the aircraft to avoid it like the plague

                              Given up on BF2? LOL

Have you reached the level in BF2142 where they yell "hack hack" or start a kickvote, yet?

Anyway, trust me on this when I tell you- finetuning control surfaces without changing the overall picture (but to bring jets closer together), takes a maximum of 1-2 hours, if you are familiar with the picture. I kid you not. I have absolutely no technical education on this coding stuff and I managed to first mess all jets up and then really fix things. I even managed to finetune the missile system so that getting a lock and a missile shot wasnt an easy task. Thats 1-2 hours of work, maximum. Before that I simply did some math, and that took about an hour. I have a lousy system so I load up very slowly to check how well I did so that took a lot of time aswell. But if people actually get paid for what I did, and I, a total amateur could do it, then my god... someone from their ranks can do it too.

The hardest thing would be to equalize hitbox mesh surface areas from rear and overall (2 different shapes for fighters and bombers) and place the heatsources so there wont be any confusion. I dont know yet how to do this, but if I bothered to try to learn, I would do it in a day.

Total- jesus... 3-5 manhours of work, with a few hours of testing and a few hours on administrative purposes to organize a testing.

Its an easy, simple solution, doesnt take much time and effort, and if some DICE d00d would do it alone, he would be home before rush hour!

Chris you should work at DICE and fix all these problems.
