    24/7 Servers

Iam a BF2 forum lurker, I wander through about a dozen furums each day....what can I say I have alot of "man love" for the game.

Anyway, I have noticed on all these forums alot of threads complaining of 24/7 servers. Hacking, tking, whoring, bad admins, kids ....think the about the worst stories youve heard and its happened on 24/7 servers.

Personally I cant get on them, pings of 300+, but I was wondering if others play on them regularly and if the stories are true.
I normally stick with gamearena/ internode servers and very rarely encounter too many smacktards.
    Cheers

    Re: 24/7 Servers

from my own experience, i havent seen alot of bad stuff on the 24/7 servers i played on. i mostly play on ptb 24/7 karkand and i dont see much tking or admin abuse. and how can someone who uses a tank not be called a whore?

i dont think its the fact that its a 24/7 map server that makes the server bad. Its because there are plenty of them (since no one really likes waiting 5 min to load a new map every other round), so alot of stuff happens in a lot of servers. like u, i try staying in servers with well known names or a server that i kno is good instead of choosing some at random

Same here, I rather play there because it saves time loading a map. Especially on the TV2 servers which have 20 round rotations before a server reload of the map.
As of late number of players have ben dwindling, but you see that all across the scene. At least the 24/7 servers attract a lot of players.
