    Best Nvidia Driver?

i just upgraded to a 7900gs card. but since i've been away from nvidia for the last 2 years (upgraded from ati 9800se), i don't know if i should use the driver from the cd, or from the website (PNY), or from nvidia's official website, or omega (well, it seems it's dated), or any other websites for the best, optimized driver

can someone please point me in the right direction. thanks.

also, what utility would be good for nvidia cards?

i know for ati, it's been atitools

The CD gives you the Original Factory released drivers.
Go to www.Nvidia.com to get the latest drivers.

the newest drivers are usually best with the newer cards such as urs and these drivers a customized, but u prob wont notice a diff at all. (theyre suppose to be better than the nvidia ones tho, but theyre exactly the same and theres no harm in using customized drivers)

dont use omega drivers for nvidia cuz theyre really outdated and i heardthe guy isnt gonna update them anymore

for a utility, i recommend looking for coolbits or rivatuner. (if u use rivatuner, u will get an error message when u load it saying that ur drivers isnt compatible, but just ignore it)

and since u seem to use to have a ati video card, remember to uninstall ur old ati drivers and use "Drivercleaner pro" and using that to remove ur old ati files.
