If the parents and censors where actually thinking logically they would know that removing gore in FPS games is the wrong thing to teach their children. What I'm trying to say that if these teenage psychopaths think "hey, if I shoot a guy with a .50 cal he'll just bleed a little and fall down like in the video games, oh what fun" they might not hold back in the real world. Although if they knew that a .50 cal would literally tear a man to pieces, they might rethink their situation.

It's also a bit of a double standard, don't you think? It's alright for game to show people unloading countless rounds into a man's chest, but it's not alright to show the logical outcome. Maybe we're not meant to understand what that means.

I think it should have been set up like the UT series, you can adjust the gore level to your preference from no blood to ALOT of blood, there was even a mod called decalstay, in which the blood and guts would stay the entire map instead of disappearing after a few minutes

yeah i definitely agree, there should be more options to choose.......body parts...no body parts, no blood, or more blood, etc.....it provides more freedom of choice to the gamer(s)...
