C4 and Knife, how is this possible ? Debate.

This is a true story lived by me and my friend.
My friend, for those who remember, is the guy who pwned with MSN, anyway long story

Here's what happened :

I played with him on a CROW server last night and I, being sniper, was covering my friend at long range when he was capping a flag.
An enemy appears and the 'reflex' of my friend was throwing a c4 on the ground. THen he ran away to blow it up but the enemy followed him with his knife out. So my friend blew up the c4, killing the guy BUT HERE is the strange thing I tried to figured out HOW.

My friend got knifed by the SAME GUY that he C4-ed!
So on the top left there was :
ZzZzZzZ [C4] *******
******* [Knife] ZzZzZzZ

I was like wtf how is this possible? Even my friend dont know what really happened.

Any ideas ?

well to confirm what mayflower said,
I was puting the C4s on an APC, i guess the guy saw me and bail out, he ran after me and in the exact time he killed me i was click on my mouse to detonate the C4s.

the last thing a saw b4 dying was a guys holding a knif, runing toward me from the APC.

I killed a guy with M95 before and died by his bullet at the exact same time, but I guess you could attribute that to bullet travel time

I guess in this case though, it was the amount of time to "bleed out" from the knife wound LOL

Happened before with me, quite a lot of times.
Several reciprocal kills, with whatever weapons (including Knife and Knife)

i keep getting these dodgy glitches with clays now, every now and then a claymore kill will show up as a mounted machine gun kill or RPK - 74.

slightly off topic... but very recent



and no... i didn't swop weapons.

Someone picked up my kit a while back to revive me, and i had been searching through kits and kits of nOOby unlocks looking for either a M16A2, or an AK again... i finally got a AK... but started killing people with an L85A1.

The weapons sounded like an AK, and felt like an AK....

humm... sometimes the game seems to forget what it was that killed you, and instead shows the kill weapon for what the person is using at the moment.

I 'laddered' someone before, by killing them, then immediately jumping onto the ladder at karkand.

It seemed to be caused by lag, as no-one in my team saw it apart from one person- but he didnt take a screenshot :cry:
