            Uninstall the old drivers, reboot into safe mode, run drivercleaner, reboot, and then install the 84.21 drivers (best drivers that I've found).

                    Exactly, the latest drivers suck. I have dual 7800gt's in my backup rig and the best drivers performance and stability wise for me are the 84.21's.

                            i did try the 84.21 drivers but no performance increase. Can an experienced fella look at the computer? Thx.

                                I have tried everything. No use. the 84.21 drivers turned out to be even worse. Please help me out because I help others in this BF2 community.

                                        The problems SLI. Run in single card mode & I guarentee your FPS will get a huge boost.
                                        My clan mate ran SLI 6800 ultra's on all high w/ lag also...but then disabled one & got a really smooth gameplay experience.
