Whats wrong with my rank?

Here are my stats http://bf2s.com/player/47522503/. Now according to my stats I should be a first sergeant. But why dont i have my rank? If you look at the next rank box it is telling me that my next should be master gunnery sergeant. I have what is required for first sergeant. So my question is what do I have to do to get it back on track?

yeh your at the same rank as me


its because you didnt meet some of the entry requirements to reach first sargent for example basic knife/pistol

youll have to wait till 50,000 points to rank up agian

Basic Knife Combat Badge, Basic Pistol Combat Badge, Basic Assault Combat Badge, Basic Anti-tank Combat Badge, Basic Sniper Combat Badge, Basic Spec Ops Combat Badge, Basic Support Combat Badge, Basic Engineer Combat Badge, Basic Medic Combat Badge

badges and it looks like u have all of those except u needed to earn them b4 u ranked up. and once u get master sergeant, u wont be able to get 1st sergeant anymore, so from the looks of it, u didnt have all of those badges b4 ranking up

LOL. Hardly seems worth it, running around with a knife to get some badge so you can get the next weapon power up. That's the only benefit, right? If you're already proficient with the weapon you have, and no doubt you are, why waste hours trying and often failing to sneak up on someone so you can knife them? I'm just speaking rhetorically -- I just have moved to my next rank, too, and maybe this is why I haven't. I couldn't be bothered spending hours of gameplay changing how I play the game to earn a badge to earn a weapon I may or may not wind up likeing to use. If the power-up made me shoot straighter, made me run faster, made my hits hit harder, then I might pursue it.

Okay, so that leads me to the questions:

1) If you earn more than 20K points and do not have all the badges required for First Sergeant and you become a Master Sergeant instead, can you still become a Sergeant Major (instead of a Master Gunnery Sergeant) at 50K points if you earn all the badges that are required for First Sergeant and all the additional badges required for Sergeant Major; or if you miss making First Sergeant, are you doomed to advance to Master Gunnery Sergeant at 50K ?

2) If you do not make either First Sergeant or Sergeant Major, but do make Master Gunnery Sergeant, can you still advance to 2nd Lt at 60K; or is making Sergeant Major a additional requirement to become an officer?

1) i think u can get to sergeant major as long as u get the required badges

2) u can get 2nd lieutenant as well w/o being sergeant major

Sergeant Major Requirements:

Requirements:

• Rank: Master Sergeant
• Score: 50,000
• Awards: Basic Armor Badge, Basic Transport Badge, Basic Helicopter Badge, Basic Aviator Badge, Basic Air Defense Badge, Basic Ground Defense Badge

and 2nd lieutenant

Requirements:

• Rank: Master Gunnery Sergeant
• Score: 60,000
