Anyone have a ATI x1600 512M GC

If anyone has the same Grahpics card could anyone tell me if the games runs well with that graphics card before I buy it in my new system?

I would suggest to not buy that one becasue there is no point in getting that GPU with 512mb of RAM. The card wont be able to utilise all of it. Instead i would get a 7600GT or X1650 pro.

that sortof gives u an idea of where the x1600 stands...itsfor half life ep one (they dont have bf2) so its just a general idea...so it should run when with med and maybe some high settings

Get the X1600 512, I use to have this card and it ran High about 35 - 45 FPS no problem.

Sweet, im getting this

P4 Duel Core 945 3.4 GHZ
1Gig Of Ram
And X1600 512 MB Grahpic card

All for like 700 bucks
is that good?

EDIT: That seems like a lot for what you are getting. DO NOT listen to bull3t, Getting the X1600 pro with 512mb of RAM is not worth it.

So the GeForce 7600GT 256MB card is better of having?

x850xt is equivalent to about a 7800gt or somewhere there

7600gt is a pretty nice card (the 7600gs isnt)
