I can't believe I am hearing people even bring up Karkand. I mean what player still plays there still anyways?

But back on subject, I have seen videos of these things on the History Channel. They are really cool, but I think they would be a little devistating on a Vodnik. But, at least two M203s will take out a vodnik. Just think for people have very respectable memory for ballistics; they could just rain hell on a distant flag point with impunity (save for an arty strike).

      You're kidding, right? I think it's the single most-played map. See http://www.totalbf2.com/forums/showthread.php?t=101212 .

Nope, I am dead serious. Why would anyone play Karkand at this point. It is the root of all the problems that occur in BF2. All the gimping (aside from the Black Hawk gimp) stem from 100 yards of real estate on that map.

Think about it, IO (removing armor and jeeps), claymore with FF off, grenade launcher change, APC not shooting through fencing...

Karkand, no matter how fun it was designed to be, is evil.

I agree Karkand has a lot of problems but that doesn't change the fact that it IS the most popular map.

Those Mk19 are fun to shoot. You can go thruh the box pretty quick.
The HK one looks cool, i think. I remember DC for 1942 has buggies with them on. All it was a uncap base raping tool.

I never said it was not the most popular map, I was just implying that since a lot more competent players post on these forums, I would expect less love for it from here.

I've seen a documentary on this, this thing can actually take out tanks from 1000m away (in a good range).

They had them on Hummers in POE for BFV. Worked good. There were not to many of them but they could cover your squad very well.

Lol @ all the problems stem from 100 of real estate.

The very early (probably prototype) Mark 19 model 0 grenade launcher; note that it lacks sights and any grips. - I know its a prototype but I mean come on why the **** do you need sites? Just blast 10 and follow the explosions like a tracer :p

I say put them in like 2 humvee's, vodnik's, w/e the chinese vroom vroom's are called. Give them 10 each non reloadable until the humvee dies and comes back. Fire, reload 2 seconds, fire reload 2 seconds. Make them have a detonation distance of 50M. Make them HARD to aim at distances over 75M. That would balance it pretty good.

                    Not to bash EA but....

                    Free content from EA? LOL
