Cheating or Exlploitaion in Leagues

Hi, I'm a player in the ED league and after coming out of a match earlier, I was somewhat surprised by what I saw. The clan I'm in is ranked in the top ten in the league and we went up against someone in the top 5. It turned into a rape fest. Everything I saw was very weird. 1 second 180 degree turns, jumping up then turning prone and shifting position in the air, and other wild things.

Now I understand that this occurs all the time in league play, but I must say that this was the first match were this stuff was occurring. We have relied on tactics to play and we don't bunny hop or dolphin dive because we just don't think it is the right thing to. Are any of the things which I described done with macros or cheating? I'll admit that I'm pissed because my *** was handed to me by bunny hoppers and dolphin divers, but I'm also curious of everything that I saw. I'll list what we saw so you can comment on it.

-1 second 180 degree turns
-jumping up then turning prone and shifting position in the air
-at the hotel flag on Karkland, there is the little overhang next to the flag that you need to climb a ladder to get on. I was watching the ladder and out of nowhere a guy appeared on the overhang and killed me. The only thing I can think of is that he jumped on someones head and then jumped off the head and onto the ledge.

I've read discussion in other forum that scripts are used with a bit of imagination. As far as hacks are concerned, not sure. However, I take a stab and say you were not using patch 1.40 on that server. That helps prone hoppers do what you described.

Now is it unheard of for hackers to be in Cal or any other league, no! From one person in Cal who took some videos. The obvious use of aimbot is watching a player kill off 2 or more people in less then a second from several different locations.

From what I read, that guy was banned from Cal for using an aimbot. The point of the video was to show that it's impossible to do that with consistency unless you are using an aimbot.

That's skill to make your version of BF2 show name tags behind walls :) And, we all know that your a nube if you cannot kill 2 players 50+ meters apart in 1 burst J/K

Well to be fair......

You can turn 180 degrees with a high mouse sensitivity, I have a buddy that plays with almost max sensitivity and has done so since FPS's really came out. When I try and play on his comp I can't even see straight but he's used to it and can't play anyother way.

Also you can jump in the air and turn around....whats weird about that? You can also do this and go prone directly.

With practice you could do all those things, plus hop your bunny *** off and act like Flipper. You said that you choose not to but in competivite matches people will always try and give themselves an edge. Not just in video games but in everything so I see nothing wrong with it. As long as they don't use any third party programs..hacks etc.

EDIT: This was intended based on what the OP said not whatever video of cheating you found.

That was a demo file, someone else recoreded the demo. You can see both teams tags when using battlerecorder.

I've never been able to do that. I consider myself a very good player too...

I don't think that it's possible to do that in a single burst. He was most likely rightfully banned for Aimbotting.

From what I've read you cannot turn 180 in mid air, prone like a frog and pop someone in the head for a 1 shot kill unless you are using scripts, hacks or the combination of the 2. Anyone can learn to jump and turn 180. But to jump, turn 180, prone yourself (to me looks like a frog) and pop someone in the head for a 1 shot kill is using 3rd party program of sorts. I know that using one of those logitech Orb mouse works wonders in do that. Also, I am aware that upping your dpi on your mouse can make for a thrill. However, it doesn't account for the 1 shot kill. When you add them all together it's label some sort of hack. Admins are using discretion instead of relaying on PB now a days because we all know PB doesn't catch everything. Therefore, you make a judgment call.

Same match I witnessed countless times people jumping in the air...moving to teh side...going prone and managing to headshot me the second they hit the deck....

once or twice you think...wow you lucky sod....every time...you think...lol im not going to say it..

Worst part of it is that the server we played on the guys will not give us all the battle recorder files...claim that only 2 of them work and they cannot get the other 2 as there are problems...lol strange that how the 2 rounds which had the most suspicious events in them are not accessable :)

that move can be done, just jump spin round quick and go prone and fire, i think the character animation is delayed so they are already unloading on you but you see it late.

No, the character animation is not delayed. As far as it being done?? That's an open ended statement of sorts. Can someone with just a keyboard and mouse kill someone 1 shot with that move and be consistent? NO! Can someone with a script, aimbot, wallhack, etc now do it? Yes! It's doesn't take a genius to use a forum search and read the post on how they are doing this. I wonder if they know their forums are being logged or access :laugh2:

please remember the term "Random Deviation" meaning the bullet MIGHT go thru ur skull. or it might not.
