Ok, I reinstalled the game because of many problems I have during the game. The shader problem and it just crashes one out of every two games probably. I reinstall, now it wont even start. What the hell is it about this ****in game that makes it never work correct. I click the icon, the little bf2 window comes out, screen turns black, and then it goes back to the desktop with no error box or anything. I just installed the lastest ati drivers before this, so those are updated. What could be the friggin problem? I'm so pissed off about this, sorry guys.

Now SF works, but the screen turns black about every 3 seconds with bad glitchy lag too. I'm going to try and update everything again.Comment

sometimes the latest drivers arnt the best ones for the game, any other ATI users out there can sugust the drives they are using and try them to see what happensComment

Yeah that happend to me when I had 1942 put in disk, "Play Game" then Black screen then your on the desktop. Its your grahpics card, your either is too old. Or it just burnt out. Buy a new one. Like a X850XtComment

If you have a 1800 or 1900 I would suggest either the 6.4 or 6.7 drivers. I've tried them all including the latest. Performance is best with older drivers. ATI seems to have forgotten about BF2 with newer drivers because there is actually a slight performance drop with their newest drivers.Comment
