We all know that we are getting a patch even though some if not most of us are not having any real problems with BF2 at this stage of the game. The only real issue that I have come across are the following:
-People who are in a squad can make request for artillery and supply drops but they don't show up on the mini map like they use to.
-Spotting enemies are very dodgey and require multiple clicks before it works
-You shouldn't have to buy BF2142 in order to get the laugh taunts.
I really see no need for a new patch as we don't want another series of borked functionality and we DON'T want any nerfing as we have in the past. Even though Dice Sweden maybe involved in this patch, we still want a smooth transition. We also DON'T WANT ADDITIONAL ITEMS WE DIDN'T ASK FOR AS A COMMUNITY. For example, NO more nerfing!!!!!!!!!!
It would be nice to add a few more vocal commands like:
-claymore, c4 or land mine spotted (with icon on mini map)
It would also be nice if they returned the laser destination to the game. It was said they thought no one would use it. I say add it back to the game and let the BF2 community decide to use it or not. I mean what's the worst that can happen? Is it that it's not used at all?
