I use clays to protect flags, and cover my *** when sniping, that's all. Sometimes certain positions to delay or stop the enemy.

yeah i like to use em but i think its unfair to deploy them facing spawn points... such a cheap tactic if you ask me.

Nothing special but i only use clays to cover my arse. Oh, and to get a few cheap kills on sharqi at tv station :)

A good claymore score is NOTHING to be proud of. Claymores are abused by using them as an offensive weapon because you cannot do anything to move them.

You can have a game of karkand with an army of infrantry against an army of snipers who just claymore whore and snipers will never lose.

Claymore death rate is also determined by how many times you die whilst holding the claymore. As you generally dont hold a claymore all the time like you hold a gun, your deaths are considerably low.

In short if you claymore whore it shows you need to abuse a defensive weapons and no friendly fire, just to match the score of the other good players of battlefield.

I agree with most of your points but TBH i only use claymores to cover my *** or defend a flag which is a worthy cause :p

Actually yeah.

Claymores augment my score exponentially in at least half the games that I play. Enough that I get the Gold Medal.

Of course, I use them offensively to take flags, which usually leads to an easy one or two kills when people try to sneak around the corner to spray me with bullets. Frankly enough, I'm at a 'huge' disadvantage in CQC, so I try to make it up any way I can.

That includes grenade spam, spraying pistol bullets, and claymore spam.

We use the tools that EA gave us.
