cannot create socket?

everytime i try to log in for the past few days i click on the login button and it takes prolly 20 seconds for that message to appear...and it wont log me in at all, if i click any button after that the game ctd.....i have the current patch for it too... any and all help is much apreciated

This usually means that you have a hardcore networking issue.
