Back with a Bang, Glitches Volume 5#

• Karkand has a new glitch which i found out from my friend and i watched him do it, near the market flag you can jump through the wall once again.
  
• The other is the rank glitch is back it happened to me and a few others on various servers, your rank is private and you have none of your unlocks, and you start getting basic badges again as if your accounts been reset.
  
• When your in a jeep and you drive past a tank, the tanks turret to the side, your under the cannon and it fires it still obliterates you even though its physically impossible by science and nature laws.
  
• Rockets still pass through cars.
  
• Jets now mystically blow up mid air, nowhere near walls, buildings or cranes, no anti air about or jets shooting them out of the sky, just says, (playername) is no more.
  
• People shoot the other direction and kill you (thats one of my favs) dont know how they do it, but ive been shooting them they shoot 90 degrees the wrong way and kill you, Whats all that about.
  
• Only occoured on Special Forces, the Rebel sniper had unlimited grenades, no support or ammo bags around, he just kept throwing about 20 grenades at the flag the enemy was capturing.
  
• Last but not Least, Self Repairing tanks, its happened to me and others, no engineer around, no supply crate, you get shot with an AT rocket or a Tow, your tank automaticly repairs its self, its wonderful when your driving the tank, not if your shooting it of course. Seems to happen on Sharqi alot.

Just a few ive jotted down over the past month or so..

Lets hope there is'nt more to come.

wow, u must have one badass copy of bf2. luckily for my part, i haven't had the displeasure of ANY of those "glitches" that you mention. PHEW!

its happened to me, i was flyin over the water on Dilian plant and the plane just blew up out of nowhere, it was as if it had crashed into a wall cos it bounced back.

wow, u must have one badass copy of bf2. luckily for my part, i haven't had the displeasure of ANY of those "glitches" that you mention. PHEW!

lol, thank your self lucky they do my head in, specially the 90 degree enemy shot with the magic bullet.

now that you clarify, yes only particularly on dalian plant: looking towards the hangars - so to say "North", you would have to fly up and North-West direction for a short while and ur plane blows up and u see a bit of glitchy map, like the actual end of the map its self , ie . wall. ive found that when i was refueling/rearming swooping down North and to fill my weapons bays i went up north-west and do a loop, when i hit that zone BAM! you vanish.

now that you clarify, yes only particularly on dalian plant: looking towards the hangars - so to say "North", you would have to fly up and North-West direction for a short while and ur plane blows up and u see a bit of glitchy map, like the actual end of the map its self , ie . wall. ive found that when i was refueling/rearming swooping down North and to fill my weapons bays i went up north-west and do a loop, when i hit that zone BAM! you vanish.

yeah, its one that alot of people already know, but its still majorly annoying

yes buy hitting the water and giong out of bounds is two different things. but ive never hit the water when ive gone out of bounds. its usually when ive chased someone too far up high like past 1200ft and the jets spinning in one direction and i cant regain control in time with my keyboard/mouse config.

I didnt mean hitting the water, obviously, when you reach the end of the map behind the carrier where there are no boundaries. You go too far and you crash

i have blown up in mid air before with no cranes around, i was over ocean and none was shooting at me, i just went boom....Comrad_Joe is no more

  Not really a glitch, just a connection problem with the server. server restarts should fix it

  You're not actually under the cannon - you're in it. as the shell passes down the barrel of the cannon - it hits you

  there's some hidden walls that DICE decided leave in because they're idiots

  thats me lying in the grass with a wrench. You can't see me even in f10 and i prefer to leave it that way because the enemy also has a hard to seeing me

I've experienced this a few times, but rejoining fixes it. I know I wasn't alone since only like 4 out of 30 players had a non-private rank. It kind of felt good to get old badges again though.

I'm not an expert on the nuts and bolts of BF2 maps, but perhaps you hit the skybox. A few games I've played in the past had a certain area above the entire map that acted as a ground surface.

I don't know if anybody here experienced this or not, but sometimes I would be walking along, no where near anybody else, and I would get a message like "You killed xxxx" or "You were killed by xxxx". I've even been punished for tk's that happened on the other side of the map! Just fyi, in those instances I never had any mines/claymores/c4 active. I don't really mind the you (were) killed messages, but the tk's are just plain annoying.

Edit: Oh, one more thing. Sometimes when I use ammo bags/medkits the sound would linger on until I switch back to the bag. The sound of the bandages is tolerable, unlike the resupply sound.

sometimes while im playing very intensely as medic, when i throw down a med pack it would like glitch a split second and TWO medic bags would be thrown instead of one and it doesnt affect my total number of medpacks nor would there be any1 else around to throw it to me as i look around myself when this happens, has happened recently (tonight and a few times last week.)
for all new glitches i Blame the POS NO GOOD ERYX_THRU_FAV 1.4 patch

Also: another glitch for me and alot of clan mates have confirmed. is on the particular map of FUSHE PASS, it seems as if though you have full lock and lock doesnt even break, the AA missiles in neither of the j10 or the j18 hit each other. like maybe 1 out of 6 will hit, go back resupply and then u might get the other jet down with the next 6 missiles. lol

Ammo packs and heal pack icons sometimes still dont show up with 3D map on. Invisble wall is on Dalian plant next to the chinese airfield just keep flying north from the hangar over the end of the map and you will hit the wall. (Thanks to Dices horrible ****ty map makers) Tv missles are worse then ever they go through 9/10 choppers. Laser guided jet missles half the time are useless, they will bug up and wont be able to shoot at all. There is a pack glitch if you get revived 2 packs will form giving you full ammo. Zombie bug still here, Dice saying they would fix it in 1.4. Never did. Missles from jets are utterly useless unless fighting a f-35.

Ok so we discover more.

• Health packs, when healing the sound loops on and on and on, it really gets annoying when your tryin to listen for people on stairs.
  
• one i did'nt add, on wake, there was one guy left, a sniper, a guy spotted him and gave the command enemy spotted, usually the red sniper dot comes up, not this time, it was a green sniper dot, i was like um what...? twas strange.
  
• i have witnessed throwing 2 medic bags at the same time, happens alot, also when you throw medic/ammo bags, they go through the floor in certain places thats annoying aswell, when you need a quick heal.
  
• Reloading, sometimes you hear him reloading and the animation aint doing anything, yet another stupid glitch.
  
• The Mastuur city glitch its new to me, thanks to Ahab~Ahab for pointing that out.
