Point of Existance V.1.0.0.0 Map Pack/Single Player

Ok, yo guys. Im new to this place because of one thing, and one thing only....your mods RULE!!! Well any wayz, to get on with my questions. I downloaded point of existance 2 last night and installed it, all fine and dandy. But, in the RAR/ZIP file, there is somthing called Point of Existance 2 Map Pack.cab. And I was all like, sure, I will install this also. but, the error message of C:\documents and settings\skywalker\local settings\Temo\Rar$DI02.657\PoE2-v.!.0.0.0-mappack.cab. The archive is either in unknown format or damaged. See, I use WinRAR, and I tested the file to see if it was corrupted or not, and it said it was all fine and good. Whats wrong? Why cant I access it? Also too, (I think this is related to the map pack question) I try to acces single player in PoE2, but there are NO maps for me to play, nothing, nada AND there are only 2 servers on the multiplayers list (both servers saying taht I have the map they are using at that moment) Is there a reason I cannot play single player? Is there a reason why there are only 2 servers? Thanks for helping guys, please reply ASAP

run install exe.

run the patch.

nothing else.

Just to clarify, the PoE installer automatically installs the map pack (at least if they are in the same folder). You shouldn't need to do anything with the .cab file yourself. If you don't have any maps, try extracting both files to the same folder and running the install again.

Well my problem is this... when I play 'PoE2 - SP'

My graphics for icons like flags and weapons selections are corrupted looking.
Also the grid for the helo-screens for weapons and such, and target lockon.

I installed everything 1 by 1 in this order.
PoE2 - v1.0.0 Full Client
PoE2 - v1.0.0 to v1.1.5 Update
PoE2 - SP - Client v3
PoE2 - SP - Map Pack v1
PoE2 - SP - Map Pack v2
PoE2 - SP - Map Pack v3

Am I missing something? Why are the graphics for SP client corrupted?
When I play normal PoE2 in MP or LAN, all works fine.
I was patient and took my time. And I defragged the HD even.

I think I'll give the new PoE2 SP Client v3.5 a try
Plus don't forget to grab SP Map Pack v4 !!!

I uninstalled just the PoE2 - SP Client v3
and all 3 map packs I had for PoE2.

After the uninstall...
Deleted PoE2_SP in MODS folder...

Installed the newer version SP Client v3.5.0.1
So far with Map Pack 1 & 2

Works great, no probs.

Did crash a few times, but not due to PoE2 @ all.

My comp. just can't handle 32 bots on a 64 player map.

I changed AI to 24 bots and playing on 16/32/64 player maps works fine.

Must have been SP Client v3 is all I can say.
