Vanilla BF2 & Stat padders, what are they?

Yep, I've been searching these forums, but I want a straight answer.

1) I've seen people saying Vanilla BF2, what does that mean? Does it differ from BF2 somehow?

2) Stat padders, what/who are they? Players that whore as a medic, or what? Never understand that.

Reason to this: I have never ever played BF2 on internet. My PC can't support BF2, tried the demo on my mates house tho.

So please can someone tell me what are those two? Thanks.

vannila refers to the bog standard normal BF2, because i guees, its bland and after a while boring, quite like vannila.

stat padders are ppl that will meet up on a map and just kill, get medded by buddy, kill get medded... etc

1) vanilla = default, standard, unmodified
2) statpadder = one who increases a statistic in his favour by perverting the game mechanics eg 2 opposing players killing and reviving a victim repeatedly to boost the number of kills and revive points respectively.
