Video Settings help?

hey guys...ive been at this site for a while, im lovin it...i have to ask something tho...i wish to run BF2 on the optimum and have some trouble getting the settings right...

my pc stats:
Pentium4 2.4Ghz
1024 Mb/Ram
Geforce 6600GT 128Mb/ram
and a high speed conection...and a 19'' screen on 75hz and 1240x1024

i set the game on default
and it set everything on medium and the antialiasing off...the game looked stunning in singleplayer and ran smoothly...when i went multiplayer things got bogged down in choke...it got stuck when i wanted to turn and it had problems refreshing...

culd anyone give me some pointers to how to set the game so it looks good and still runs smoothe?

Get 1 more Gb of RAM and run on a lower resolution cos your graphics card is at the lower end of what runs this game well (especially at that res). You will prob have to run on low settings to get it smooth. Google BF2 tweak guide and follow that its a great guide for tweaking. I dont run at max settings to get a good frame rate and you can see my sys in my sig.

hmm putting dynamic shadows/lighting down to low or off should improve your game,

lighting also causes some stuttering
