I don't know what all the fuss is about. It makes no difference to your score if they punish, you still get -4. It will only get you kicked if the server is set up with 3 tk kick setting (if punished). I dont encounter many servers that are set up this way. Also, i will rarely get more than 1 or 2 accidental tk's if any per round anyway. I know its annoying but just ignore

I have never had that happen to me....guess i'm lucky. The only option is to find another server

i didn't spam the nades. i only threw one each time. like i said i was the first one to the flag. there was guys close behind me and as soon as i threw the nade the guy ran past me right to where i threw it the one was at the hotel at kirkland on the portch and someone ran up the stairs. the other was at thrid flag in and the guy was hideing behind a news stand and someone ran behind the news stand to kill him.

i try really hard not to teamkill anyone and it's got me killed quite a few times since i wait for them to go red before i shoot unless there close and i can tell there on the other team. but with switching teams every map on some servers. i forget what team i'm on sometimes

i don't punish anyone.

today i'm in a group of 10 people at least. we have just taken the flag and it all clear -- bam i get teamkilled by a nade. i was in the middle of the road with nothing but team mates around me. no sorry, nothing but i still didn't punish.

i remember when i through a grenade and my teammate ran to it and stood ontop of it, then he punish....he was a Lt.General....i thort people at that rank have more respect

I usually punish only when they don't say "sorry" or it's a clear TK, not an accident.

Usually, yes. Depends am I angry or not. Bad day, bad stats, dumb teammate.
They make me angry.

because people don't give a ****, they died, that's another death on their stats. So they punish you.

The vast majority their own damn faults, most of the rest are just accidents. But they don't care. You killed me, you must be punished.

I had a guy one time, walk right in front of my tank, then he punished me. Called me an idiot for running his *** over.

That's why I think punish off is a good thing.

actually, it's -2 for team damage (self, vehicle, or teammates), -4 for team kill, and another -4 if you're punished.

anyway, if you really want to get back at that noob (and if you're evil), make sure you kill plenty of hostiles, and then kill him several times. give him real reasons to punish you :)

i haven't done something that evil, but i am guilty of shooting punishers everytime i see them, just to run down their health to be slaughter within 10 sec......that way, it's only a -2 penalty and it is just as satisfying DD

no it dosent count tht would be wrong just running around and finding a way to tk to get a kill. yeah the stupid 1s tht run in front of a jet and u hit hit em gets on my nerves sometime i just go backwards and get some speed and fly over them.or he ones tht run into a gernade range and get tk and 1 mili second ur punished for a tk it really ticks me off so much i got banned for athis 1 guys running into my open fire and getting his head blown off and thn i punished.

Negative Points

• Team vehicle damage = -1
  Team damage = -2 ie: shooting a team member but not killing them.
  Team kill = -4
• Suicide = -2 points.

You get these negative points when you kill yourself with something that can hurt enemies. For example, frag grenades, explosives, the suicide button on your spawn screen, and vehicles. If you die involuntarily you don’t get -2, such as if you jump from a height or crash a car.
Note: Loading the front of a vehicle with C4 and raming it into an enemy vehicle (causing detonation without using the detonator) will result in you killing him and him also getting the kill on you. You will not get -2 suicide points for this.
Sometimes you will team kill and get -6 points, this happens becuase often you will get -2 team damage with your first shot then -4 with second and fatal shot.
The team kill punish system is there to aid in your removal from the server. Not to take your points away. If you team kill you will get -4 minimum regardless of whether you are punished or not. Each punish will count towards the maximum number that each player is alotted before they are kicked/banned.
