Not sure if this is better off in here or 2142 forum but here goes.....
Bought 2142 the day it came out and have currently got 10k points. I liked some aspects of the game...titan for example and the new weapons.
However i've decided to hang up my 2142 gloves and return to BF2 full time:) Reason?
2142 is full of kids shouting haxor (its "hacker" for f*cks sake!!) every 2 seconds, getting kicked for having 20 kills and no deaths, even had one try to kick me cos i knifed him twice!!!!! etc etc.
Ive got nearly 600 hours in BF2 and have heard it all before but the level of complaints and people spitting the dummy in 2142 is ridiculous!!!!! I've got a theory that a lot of the 2142 players are not old BF series players and just got the game because it has lovely spaceships in it! Someone has mentioned hack at some point and they've all jumped on the bandwagon!!
When i loaded BF2, it was like a breath of fresh air:) Playing alongside players that ive played alongside before, had 7 games and didnt hear anyone start blubbing once

), still, it felt like i was in a essex gun mounted on a tank base that is very agile... tried the tank, same stuff, rounds also goes down after traveling in the air, same crapy manouverbiliity. try the half jet half AH bastard, goes way to fast for my liking of chopper, and way to slow for my liking of jet. and the tv missile on it, oh man, theres no way u can do chopper battles with it. so basicly, if ur a jet or chopper whore looking for a new game where u can extend ur pwnage, 2142 is not for u. and infantry. bunch of kids in battle walkers, tanks , apcs........ i honestly dont know how infantry will work in 2142 unless they have IO. all these things combined make 2142 the ugly nerdy sister of the sexy hot bf2.
