Great idea, Devil's Perch would be awesome in the day! I always think Devil's Perch would just be amazing, but you can't SEE the goodness of it because it's night.

Why not start during the day, then after a couple rounds it gets darker.

Would ne nice if you could combine different settings for a map. So day or nightime. And maybe add something I read somewhere else, like different weather types. So you could have a nice clear daytime battle with lots of sun or a nightime battle with rain for example.

Weather changes, Sunny, Nightime, etc - Like in nOVAlOGIC: Joint Operations.
If it was intergrated into BF2 It would bring new life into the game.

Indeed it would bring a new dimension to all of the maps and probably keep the servers running for that little bit more :)
