I believe this just depends on the popularity of the series and how long and good it is supported (and there should be an option for "Other" just in case all the time)

The population of BF2 will decrease obviously, but take example from BF1942 that is still going to say the least, BF2 has a good few years left in it yet even more if they implement RocketChild's community ranked maps idea.

I bet BF2 will last the longest out of the BF series, but that's just my opinion.

I don't think BF2 will lose players that quickly. It'll probably stay around for more than a couple months... maybe more than a year before it loses the majority of its players. By then, people will move to BF2142 or other games.

depends on what u mean by "die" ... bf2 will still have hundreds of players playing it as it is a pretty fun game and ppl still play bf1942 and cs1.6...in fact i still play cs1.6 alot

Well the BF2 series is already almost over. I mean there will be no more boasters, expansions, or patches. But servers will continue to run it and mods are still coming out.
