There was an error creating a socket... HELP!

I was trying to log onto my bf2 account today when I got the "there was an error creating a socket" error. i tried to connect again and my bf2 closed.. i rebooted my computer a few times, tried to connect to bf2 again and i still get the same error... i even disabled my firewall with no luck.. any ideas? =(

Don't quote me on this but do you have .NET framework installed and updated? Sounds like an FTP prob.

ive had that ,it was my firewall.

i did a system restore and that seemed to do the trick! thanks for ur help guys, now back to wake island! :)
