A nice feature lost due to player preference

I'm one of them.

I never use the "run down ladders" feature. You know - when you slide down the ladder like you see submarine folk do in movies?

It's kind of a little known feature that stays little known because - why not just parachute off the building.

Does come in handy when your getting shot while climbing though.

Reminds me of a post some guy made a couple of months ago about how his GF saw him jumping off of like a 3 foot tall building and laughed lol

Because if you get shot going down a ladder, you are unrevivable, and plus parachiting off is faster, therefore the shooter will have a harder time aiming at you and if you die, usually its revivable.

me, i use the ladders all the time, parachutes even when deployed late are very noticeable from a distance, whereas sliding down a ladder might not be as noticeable.

sliding can be useful in the crane when u cant really jump away from it or deploy your parachute when ur in the middle part of the crane

I automaticaly start sliding when I hit it long as I'm not heading up. weird
