A funny bit of SF experience

So I'm in the penis-rocket map.

I'm guarding the top of the elevator with the pickup truck machine gun. I mean I'm almost in the door with that thing - just trained on the elevator shaft.

Soon the buttons light up and the cage opens in anticipation for the elevator.

The elevator roof appears and keeps coming. My fingers are hot on the trigger (er...mouse).

I see 2 heads come up and notice something:

BOTH ARE FACING THE WRONG WAY.

I guess they didn't know that the elevator opens north at the top and south at the bottom.

So I sit there for (seriously) like 3 seconds waiting for one to turn around. Finally one does and I open up with a terrifying barrage of .50 cal bullets.

Fun times were had by all.

I usually set a claymore at the top, right in the middle at the edge for a nice suprise.
its also fun to wait at the top of the ladder in the ventilation shaft and knife people coming up the ladder :>

thats why i look above the ladder before getting off.

did you know that you can RUN down ladders?

yep - just hold shift while your goin down the ladder

I was on that map once, being amazed at the new trigger switches in SF, and being the idiot that I am, I was tricked into thinking you could just launch the rocket and win the map anyway...I spent a whole round looking for that little switch...LOL

the map they are talking about is surge:



behind that rocket is the rebel command bunker which has a big cargo elevator you can get in and ride up to the main level. there is a switch to throw that will make the elevator move.

Yeah Surge is my fav map(all around).....i always attack or deffend the rocket site er command post thingy..
