Is an EA game worth $120??? You decide.

I'm curious what the population here thinks about this. Is an EA game worth $120?

Stupid, but at least its better than what the next Gran Turismo game is going to do (it'll probably cost up around $900-$1000 if you get all the downloaded content (that you also have to pay for) in order to fully, 100% complete the game).

    Yay for money hungry companies....

      I love the part:

"What's next for EA? 10 Microsoft Points to fill your car up with gas at the 'Carbon' gas station?"

Not suprising really, there is money to be had therefore EA are there in force.

I wonder if the PS2 version comes with the addons for free?

Right there with ya. I'll never buy another EA product again.

yeah i find that hard to believe since EA(the largest gaming company as well as fortune 500) puts out about 80% of todays games...cant stand ppl like u. Look into DICE, not EA for your problems with the BF series.

EDIT: I would assume you dont play sports game either...like Madden, or Tiger Woods right? Because those are....EA.

I personally don't care if you can stand people like me or not. To answer your question, NO I don't play sports games. I don't play games on consoles either. I play shooters, and I play those on PC. That's all I play.....And I don't play those often. I play BF2 once a week on average. I'm not a "hardcore gamer" by any stretch of the imagination. When I say I won't buy another EA game, you better believe that I'm serious. Just to make sure nobody comes around saying "Dice does this, EA does that".......I'll probably never buy another Dice game either. If you ask me, there's plenty of blame to go around for the lousy experience that has been BF2.

Oh, and by the way.........capitalization, punctuation, and ACTUAL WORDS will make your point much more clearly.

Now, back on topic. Do you think the average person is likely to spend $100+ to buy a video game? Given your experience with BF2, would you spend that kind of money for another EA game? What are your opinions about the seemingly endless downloadable (purchasable) content that is quickly becoming the norm in the gaming industry?
