You so called 'leet clanners' want to impress me? Learn how to play the game with unlocks, and compete in competitions that have unlocks... because as a rule, most supposedly leet players that I've ever seen, have sucked at using them in either scrims or pubs, or defending against them. They go into a pub server and get their asses handed to them, and it's a non-stop litany of 'g36e' that, or 'DAO Spam' this. And they whinge CONSTANTLY about them. And then, later on, on forums such as this, they call everyone else 'crybabys'.
Yeah... I'm impressed. Let's design a competition that uses weapons that no-one else uses, and beat them because most people couldn't be assed learning how to play a butchered version of the game... and then croon about how wonderful we are.
You think people that are better than you that don't use unlocks, will be worse than you when they start using more accurate weapons? Intriguing.

I consider people that don't know how to play the game with all of the weapons worse, and the biggest whingers. Yes.
And more accurate? Sure... the DAO is more accurate than the standard AT guns. Riiiiiiiight.... And, for the record, the G36E is not more accurate than the M16, and not only that, it has less recoil. It does have less power however... And the AK is more powerful than any medic unlock.
But it doesn't stop people whinging about it, and only competing in competitions that don't have those other weapons.

Which one is the retardedly accurate one with full auto? G36C or G36E? There's not much to learning the guns in this game, so don't assume only pubbers can use unlocks.

Yes I know its the internet, and we all know the internet is serious business. But as far as all of us being in one community. That's laughable at best. The ideas and changes that the competition community would like to see from the devs versus the changes wanted and asked about by those who frequent this forum and those like it are two very different things. WTF are you babbling about? Yeah I started this thread as a funny opening cause I didnt know the situation as to why the dude got called a champ. I found my reason then never posted back in this thread. Then today i look back on this thread and see OTHER people arguing back and forth, no one attacking me or anything, just a bunch of guys attacking one another. So I posted earlier as to say "calm the F down all you guys". No one pasted back as a response to me till seconds ago..and this was my response..

So another words you decided to deride someone on a public forum and didn't know or understand the circumstances in which the article was written. So you don't even bother to look into it and find out for yourself what the situation is. And now you complain about the presence of the competitive community in your thread that derides us. Grow up. You only made yourself look like an *** in a public forum for video games. Next time you might slander someone in some other fashion and it might come back to bite you in real life instead of a group of gamers defending their own.

CAL players don't suck with unlocks. It will only allow them to own you more. These clans that you speak of are probably not in CAL and if they are they probably suck.
CAL does not use unlocks because it allows for players who have spent money on the expansion packs to have an advantage and players who pub a lot to have an advantage. The top CAL players generally don't suck in pubs, they just usually don't have very good stats because they do not pub very often.
I don't really give a flying **** about "impressing" you. We know what competitive gaming is like, we know the skill it takes, and we know how much more exciting and challenging the game is competitively. That is not the issue here. The issue was about you ignorant pubbers making fun of an incredibly tallented player because he didn't have very good pubbing stats. Would you feel annoyed if you were at work getting made fun of by an intern who said he could do your job better than you even though you know he could not even come close? Probably.
