Its good to see that TBF2 forum scrubs keep up with CAL, or TWL, or any league for that matter. Maybe if you stopped playing BF2 for a minute you might realize Team HOT is one of the best BF2 teams ever, with a ChesireCat being one of the best commanders ever. And if anyone here disagrees, hop on IRC and try scrimming them, 20ID, warchild, Crucial, Check Six, or almost any other Cal-Main Team.

CAL is a tournament ladder/league. Ladders/Leagues encourage people to join together in clans, and play in organized games under organized rule sets.

Total Battlefield 2 is a public forum, which has no ladder, league, or any form of organized clan battles of any kind. It encourages people to discuss aspects of the game, and maybe even find a guild that they might fit in. Nothing more.

For our next painstakingly lopsided comparison between two things that have almost no relevance (Excluding the fact that they both involve a video game.), we will decide which game has a better storyline, and better graphics: Adventure for the Atari 2600, or Never Winter Nights 2.

A fuss is being made over him because he's accomplished something that his peers as well as the gaming industry recognizes as being worthy....he's a champion and part of a championship team. That is where the 1,000's of other players aren't better, because they haven't accomplished anything tangible that has peer approval.

Euro's best, I believe Code7 got their asses handed to them by Warchild in the first round at CGI...Euro's best didn't even get the chance to play HOT. So what does that tell you? It tells me that Magnificient couldn't touch HOT being that Mag is full of ex Code7.

Conquest is something different as Infantry And at infantry I can tell you they are way superior. And somebody told me something about Magnificent combining with aPas? If that's going to happen you've got a extremely good team there.

The point was laugh at the "BF2 Champion" but all of a sudden they've hijacked the thread and transformed it into a "OMFG UBER CAL teams vs NOOB STATSWHORING Pubbers" thing.

I have seen Warchild and 20ID people playing on pubs. They are good but I've seen better pubbers. Back in Brazil these clans that play on CAL used to play on pubs a lot. They were far from being much better than the others. ChesireCat or whatever his nickname has noob-ish pub stats and just further supports what I say.

The big difference is that "Our best 8" is not a team that plays as a real team, but surely with some time they could whoop your elitist clan asses.

Also consider that especially the Warchild guys like to act like a bunch of 12-y-old retards and go TK-ing, forcing TK's and throwing FB's on teammates when playing on pubs.
