2142 helps BF2:

against my better judgement i got 2142 (love BF2) and have got around 10k points. Stopped playing BF2 to concentrate on 2142, anyway 2142 wouldnt load so went back to BF2 after 6 days off.

In 3 rounds as groundpounder;
KDR 48 kills - 2 deaths
KDR 34 kills - 0 deaths
KDR 61 kills - 9 Deaths

I normally get pretty good KDR but i think the faster play in 2142 has definitely helped.

Anyone else been playing 2142 and noticed a difference in BF2 gameplay?

No, but i did find out that who ever sprays more and who ever is more lucky theyre bullet will hit first. Also amors are around every corner and the air vehicle blows.
Bf2142: Not much of a skill based game
I play it to have fun and be an arse.
Bf2: Fast thinking and skilled burst shots
I play it for Cal and TWL.
IMO

Oh i almost forgot, they are similiar but very different at the same time just like nam and vanilla. These games cannot be compared for they are not the sequal for they are just series of BattleField.

its prob becuz of the way bf2 is....whenever i play bf2 for a while and i go back to cs, my kd ratio in cs just stink at the beginning...yeah i think bf2 is a easier game than most fps

Well I bet BF2142 won't help but with me Call of Duty 2 works way better than any other game. For some reason I get massive kills after playing COD2.

i tend to really get into the feel of things when i'm playing Bf2 or company of heroes. really annoys my squad :laugh:

nope, stoped playing demo or any interest in 2142 after gathering stats on ads fiasco while still overcharging full price for something that little more than an expansion pack on a BF2.1 engine

I liked the game, just dont see anything in it for me if im earning cash for EA watching ads
