First star.

How do you get the first star rank? If you need the same ammount of points for both, 1star rank and 2star rank? What's the difference?

I'm about 200 points away from my first star, but I need a Vet Armor badge to get that so it says... why have first star when you can't get it if you get the same mmount of points and get 2 star rank? :S

To get the second star, you have to have the first star. Also there is time involved per general rank.

yeah u need 1080 hours for brigadier general and 1250 hours for major gen.

I am not trying to flame you but I find it hard to believe that a person can play this game and have that many points and still not know these things. It just doesnt sound right to me. . . . . . . .Red

There are a few things I still don't know about BF2 or ranks. As IceManHG said :) lol

By the way, the comment I made above was directed at all the people who have 300 hours playing time and are already an Officer of some type and tell us how easy the game is. Then almost in the same breath they always tell you that they dont cheat. Give me a break, I have played a few hours you know. . . . . . . . . . . .Red

Yeah, I agree. It was a big "let down" when they nerf'd the requirements for general after I put all that time in the tank (400 hrs.), & wasted 100 hrs. in crappy kits like AT (not my cup of tea), I feel like I got "played":|:

i still wish that they didn't have the time thingys on but instead you had to have all expert kit badges aswell as veteran vehicle. with certain golds etc. coz if my SPM gets any better i wotn have the time for major general

shocking considering majority treat ranks and awards as if a gift from god.
