    Something strange about the M16

It might just be me, but i swear that gun handles and acts differently when it's being used for medic, and vice versa.

It feels much more light + more recoil when using it as medic. By light i mean that it takes less "force" of the mouse or movement to move it across the screen, it's more sensitive.

I dunno, it might just be me but i've gone through loads of times and i'm sure there is a difference. For me, using the M16 as medic seems worse than using it as assault, is there actually added weight to a gun when a GL is attached to the underside? I haven't really noticed it when using the AK101w/GP-30 or AK47w/GP-25.

I don't know, but 1 day in Karkand I was sniping from the Gatehouse to the Trainwreck, & got shot, & revived w/ a Medic M16 in my hands on SS, & I started droppin' some support dudes trying to rush across the bridge, leads me to believe that 3 round burst is a waste

That would be cool if that was worked into the game.

I.E Light guns can be swooshed around screen easily and quickly and heavier weapons such as the SRAW etc took longer to move around screen. Unless this is something that exists in the game already.

Use the gun as assault and then use it for medic, i swear there is a difference. Don't look it up on some awkward stat table thingy, but just try it.

I think there is something like that in the game (@ Bullit) the PKM seems to feel much more heavy, same for the G3.

G3 should be a lot lighter. No grenade launching, only 20 rounds, no scope.

But the G3, like the SCAR-H, & HK support weapon in Euro are chambered 7.62 NATO, second largest caliber in BF2 full-auto small arms only to the PKM

m16A2 weighs 8.5lbs. G3A3 weighs 9.7lbs. Do your research next time. And those 20 rounds are 7.62MM as opposed to the 5.56MM the M16 fires.

is that 8.5lbs with a gernade launcher and gernade in it ?

anyway the m16 is great on SS crap on 3 round burst even at close range its almost always better to use SS

i seem to be the best with the Medic's M16, when i go USMC Assualt i can hardly get any kills, but when using Medic M16 i seem to get alot of kills :)

8 1/2 lbs with no ammo or 203 attachment.
                    8.79 with a 30 round mag.
The 203 attachment is 3 lbs empty and 3.6 loaded with standard grenade rounds (smoke/practice are lighter)
You can do the math to see how much an M16A2 with a full mag + the M203 attachment with a standard round weighs.

sank you sirg. anyways like someone said is probably to compensate for the GL. Also remember when you pick up a kit you become that person. A medic has no body armor which = less restrictions and being more nimble. While the assault class comes with body armor is harder to move with body armor than without it.

lol thats what they should do if they create another BF2 Patch,
make the option to take off or put on bodyarmor for all units, without it you run fast and with it not as fast

They cant do that without making the J-10 stronger.

...DICE's trademark reply to anything people want changed in BF2.

All I know is my pellet gun shoots more accurately at 20-30 yards then most of the weapons in the game. Using the arrow shaped pellets of course
