Another map patch???

I know this most likely won't happen but what about another patch maybe??? Jalalabad seems to be doing well, why not another?

Perhaps cos making a map takes more work and effort than the developers are prepared to do. Perhaps if they were to test and then allow community made maps to be ranked then that would work nicely.

if ea allowed custom maps...this wouldnt be a problem cuz ive seen a bunch of custom maps and theyre pretty great..some better than some of hte maps that come with bf2

The problem is, if custom maps are used, people will make maps that will lead to mega high scores, etc etc, and i dont think EA and Dice are prepared to make coding in which only the maps that they give can be ranked sorta thing... D@mn..

since when did that bother them - they gave us IO mode didn't they and never fixed the jets

Well IO is not high point thing, its cos servers here need to have atleast 70% of it filled up to start, which doesnt result in those 15 players on a 64 map thing.

As for the fixture of jets... screw that. :)

Actually if anything is patched it is Jalalabad. I can't say here, but there is a small issue in this map that must be patched. Beyond that leave the game alone and give us a few more IO maps.

DiCE has already communicated with us on this subject. This is an active thread over in the suggestions area. Albeit, Colin has not said much to the BF2 community in the last month.

They should take 6 of the best maps and add them to BF2... Have them globally ranked by players. 3 karkand type maps and 3 others with air vehicles.

I doubt it though since they have the $$ expansion packs...
