Using 2nd tier unlocks...

Maybe I missed the answer to this in my search, but I recently unlocked my
2nd tier sniper rifle (L96A1) and my 2nd Tier medic. I can use them when I play vanilla BF2, but not in SF??? Whats the story on this, anyone help me?

Do you need to be a certain rank in SF? I just made SGT.

You cant use the 2nd tier unlocks in sf.
Dunno why but thats how dice made it.

No, it's because alot of the Second Tier unlocks are already main guns in SF. Not sure if it's true about the SAS thing (I'm not a frequent SF player).

Aye it is.

All of the 2nd tier unlocks are the primaries for SAS. (With expections of a couple of course)

Ya, three of the six second tier unlocks are SAS. That's probably the reason, twould have been a waste to unlock them when you can just switch teams.
