Recent dcon problems

Well ive bought the game since start, never had dcon problems that werent modem restarts or server crashes. Now bout 3 weeks ago i notice i lose connection to server for no reason bout every 3 hours or so. Past week i loose it every round.

I have a dualcore wit dfi ultra d, 7800 gt, 2gb ocz

now ive tried:
Updating pb
Setting affinity
Switching integrated nic cards
some registry fix
formatted windows (includes reinstalling bf2)

Now wtf is wrong wit this bf2. I played cod2 for a lil while then got tired of it so i didnt really test it. This happens in bf2pro and poe also.

omg i have the exact same problem and it started exactly 3 weeks ago too. actually, to be more specific, it started ever since i installed bf2142.

i get the same deal, ill get massive lag and ping starting from 100-1000+ all of a sudden and it makes everything choppy and slow. then i can be having a blast at 25 ping and all of a sudden i get the problem with you connection message and freeze for a bit, usually resulting in my unfair death. it doesnt matter what action your into at the moment, you could be sitting all by yourself and it happenes.

the only thing is though i usually dont get disconnected from the server but i may not get them at all during the course of a round. one thing is for sure though, they are more frequent and can happen multiple times during the course of one round. and when i say multiple times i mean enough to piss you off to the max.

i thought it was my isp, because im satelite net so the weather bites sometimes, though when i check outside conditions are usually nice and cloudless. i actually phoned in for a complaint a few days ago, but if you share this problem too, maybe its something to do with the game somehow. i personally blame bf 2142. ever since i installed it i always have had lag bf2 and bf 2142. bf2 though gets the d/c message and 2142 doesnt.

all i can just say is that i took off bf 2142, deleted cookies and all that temp internet files and everything i downloaded/installed in the last 3weeks and nothing changed. i tried restoring but the problem persists. maybe this is a ea problem with patch 1.4? who knows...

have you sent in anything to ea yet? i am going to soon. like i said, i thought it was an isp issue but it doesnt look like it anymore.
