Hmm,
Just cause its popular in UK doesent mean it is for US...?
Plus if US moves onto the spyware ad infested 2142 then we will have to play on UK servers which lag like hell for me.

I live in Canada get pretty good ping anywhere except Australia, anywhoos I think BF2 will hopefully last as long as Bf1942 has and is run/running.

lol how does this prove that BF2 is still alive? It just shows that there are UK players with High Scores.

I checked it upto page 609 odd and on that page all the players had 30,000 score and upwards by anyones standards that some seriuos playing and hours .

So lets so 600 pages with 50 players on it =30,000 players .

Lets also say that 10,000 are inactive so that leave 20,000 . That is still a lot of players .

yeah its just a list of playrs from UK...doesnt mean theyre still active

like blazin.uk (first person) hasnt played since a week ago and i remember he use to be on all the time

The easiest way to see if people are no longer playing is to notice the sharp decrease in interest in this site since BF2142 came out. Used to, there would be dozens of new topics a day. Lately, the first page of topics remains largely unchanged for 2 or 3 days at a time. I guess all of the "I will never buy BF2142!" people weren't being very honest with themselves.

All games die eventually, and its not as if BF2's gravestone is being chizzled right now. Its just not going to last as long as other, better, more respectable games like BF 1942. Which still has around 700-800 servers.
