Hey, I am a corporal, have 1427 points, and more than 2 posts but on my thing under my name it says corporal. How do I change that? IS it in sync with BF2s?

That private thing is linked to your posts, not to your rank in BF2 :)

If you keep on playign it will come and go in no time. After you get alot of points the rest seem to come even faster.

i got promoted to 1st sergent maybe 3 weeks ago and now im at 36,243. it shouldnt take me too long.

I cant see myself getting much past 1LT. Maybe eventually I will hit Captain. Im not counting on it happening anytime soon.

well i got to 60,000 in under 400hours and i hope to be 1st Lt in bout 2 weeks time i got bout 71,000 poitns atm. got the game feb this year. but i agree its really depressing being First/master sergeant for all that time

all these lucky people who get to play for so long, im in the same boat as vika, about 8K points shy of 50k

working 9-5,(6 when i get home) 7 days a week, so even then only a few hours to play, if im not out on weekends even less and always one person on a server accuse's me of hacking because im having a good round lol ie being medic on karkand/jalalabad it aint hard to be quite honest,

man i get an average play of around 1 hour a day.. i get ~ 150 that 1 hour... thats about it..

Same here, I've had the game for two months now, nearly up to 8000 points, I just don't have the time to play long hours at a time, as I have work and a girlfriend and a social life that I like to pay attention too as well.. And mostly I play with friends just to have a few laughs and a good time.. People who make it to general etc, must have no job or be extremely good at this game, as I for the life of me can't figure out how to get that many points.. But hey, if that's what they like to get out of their life, it's all good to me.. Personally, the social/girlfriend thing just has more pull on me

That 30,000 gap is the worst design flaw in the ranking system. It's like EA turned around when they made the game and said:

"Sergeant Major and above is only for the most hardcore gamers. The rest will have to make do with First Sergeant".

Took me ages to overcome that gap. But now, for some reason getting the 25,000 points to get Major from Captain doesn't seem so bad... Guess it's a (as sad as this sounds) sence of achievement.

the 20-50k gap is the biggest ***** in the game (so far), well done mate. I'm on 68thou and i dont know how much longer i can be bothered with it.
