Explosive jumps

I Have been Playing KARKAND And Noticed Player on Roofs with no ladders what is happening? There seems to be an Explosion which lunchs them then they deploy a Parachute?

i think if friendly fire is off you can C4 jump up hotels and stuff. Go into servers with freindly fire on :)

Or he means on, so he won't see people on buildings.

Actually it is possible to launch players using C4 with FF on.
Since there is a short spawn immunity, if you time it right you can send your teammate flying without killing him.
