Performence question

I'm about to buy a new computer. The new specifications are:

Intel E6600
2 GB dual channel 800 mhz
gigabyte 965P DS3

I'm going to put my old 6600GT into this computer. Will my FPS go up? My old computer is a 3500+ & 2 GB (not dual channel ram)

Processor is a huge upgrade, performance will be noticed.
Buy 2GB DDR2 RAM.

Also sell your old computer, buy a new graphics card. Buy a 7900 GT or higher. Or an X1900xt or higher.
