Graphics problem with only one map?

2 Gb ram
7900GT

Whenever I play on Daqing Oilfields 64 map, after about 15-20 mins my graphics seem to go crazy, half or sometimes all of my screen turns either striped gray of just black. I thought it might be a problem with temperature but I just had the same problem while running the Nvidia temp monitor and my Gpu did go over 45C.........

All other maps and games run with no problems..... How can I fix this?????

i had a problem with daqing with the old 81.98 drivers in sli...went all grey, missing textures, lagged to buggery, updated drivers to latest (91.47 now) and not had a problem since.

New drivers installed I will go and see if that fixes that.....

Right still happening on only that map

Can anyone offer any advice? Reinstall of BF2? Bit drastic for one map?

All other maps and games play with no problems

wow that sucks....I hope you removed the old ones first and didnt just whack the new ones over the top? (control panel, add/remove, nvida drivers change/remove and tick only remove following: video drivers)...and after the reboots and instaling anew the 9147, before running bf2 go to your My Documents\Battlefield 2\mods\bf2\cache and delete everything inside it (folders with long numbers), that will force it to rebuild the shader files using your freshly installed driver set.

still might not work but at least thats the correct way to do it.

Yea of course I removed the old drivers, and I also used Driver Cleaner pro after removing them.....

Like i said all maps and games run beautufully except thi sone......If i'm in a tank or another vehicle and this graphics glich occurs if I press C is change view is the problem stops untill I go back to the normal viewing mode

Yea, I deleted the cache and did a complete reinstall of BF2 last night, didn't get chance to play on the map in question but I'm having alot of CTD's which have started happening since I bought my G5 mouse, but seem more frequent the last two weeks. I think the extra strain on my 400w psu is what is causing the problem somehow..........
