Sergeant Major of the Corps: -
Requirements:

Rank: Master Sergeant
Notes: This rank is only awarded to one player at a time. It can not be earned in game via points/awards.

i wanna know, whos gets this, how do you get it, whats the criteria, whats the deal yo?
and i want someone out to come forward and show me that u have that rank i am soooooo curious about this. if not im sure someone out there knows someone with it or can tell me their gamertag. i really really want to know what the deal is with that. beyond other things i was told that this is not even awarded anymore? bs, i bet u it does and i want to knoW!! ive been playing for roughly 300+ hrs (i think) and never have a seen a person with this rank. ARRRGHHHH!@!@#$#@

i think they just abandoned the idea of having a sergeant major of hte corps

This went away with one of the patches that added the officer ranks I think. I cannot remember exactly which patch, but it's gone now.

that, in my books, did not make any sense what-so-ever. highest points for seargent major? wtf u on about? what highest pts? tw? combat? global? sounds like a load of baloni

so they dont do it anymore? damn why the hell not, it seemed like THE rank to have. i didnt know its been discontinued, but i thought if i ever got that i would probably defferr that account and re-create since once u get to 2nd lt its gone, seemed like too precious. but even if they discontinued it, there must be SOMEONE out there with that rank still, comeon, 1 person atleast out of what millions of us who play.

RedxInk, calm down son you wont be the nx SMOTC. Every Seargent Majors BFHQ lists the SMOFTC as their nx rank, did for me when i was at your rank, but you wont get it, you'll just become 2nd LT

There is no Sergeant Major of the corps. If you are a sergeant major, look in BFHQ, you will all see Next Rank: Sergeant Major of the Corps. I'm a sergeant major, and it says my next rank is SMOTC.

It clearly stats that there are no Sergeant Major if the corps. It use to be that the highest rank was 2nd Lieutenant. Then they added on the other ranks.

they also said the same thing for "General (4 stars)" but i guess they changed it, so now theres a bunch of generals
